The Moraine Park Foundation has received support from a long-time community partner, the National Exchange Bank Foundation, with a $50,000 contribution to benefit low and middleincome students. “Our student population needs us now more than ever,” said Dana Bourland, director of college advancement, Moraine Park Foundation.

“We are so grateful for the support from our friends at the National Exchange Bank Foundation. Without our valued community partnerships, our ability to help students afford an education that results in familysustaining careers wouldn’t be possible.”

The Moraine Park Foundation works to make education accessible and affordable for current and prospective students. Thanks to community partners, like the National Exchange Bank Foundation, they were able to help a total of 285 students with financial support in 2016-17. “There is a significant need in our community in regards to affording a college education,” said Adam Stone, National Exchange Bank Foundation board member.

“We feel very fortunate to have Moraine Park as a part of our community and to have the opportunity to work together to make sure that students who need help have access to secondary education.” National Exchange Bank Foundation Inc., originally founded as the Stone Foundation, Inc., is a private philanthropic family foundation created by the family ownership of National Exchange Bank & Trust.

The Foundation supports projects, scholarships and charitable organization initiatives that demonstrate a positive impact to communities. The Moraine Park Foundation lives the mission of partnering with joyful givers who believe in the power of education to transform lives, families, and communities.

Annually, the Foundation’s community partners help provide students with scholarships, books, program support, and emergency financial assistance. For more information, visit morainepark.edu.
