The Village of Kewaskum will hold its annual fireworks display at River Hill Park on Tuesday, July 3, at dusk, approximately 9:30 p.m.
The rain date is July 4. To reserve spots to view the fireworks, spectators are allowed to lay tarps on the hill starting at 6 a.m. on Saturday, July . On July 3, the band “Shut the Front Door” will perform in the large shelter on top of the hill from 6:30 p.m. until midnight.
Food and beverages will be served at the park, beginning at about 5 p.m. Hamburgers, brats, fries and cheese fries are among the offerings. Beer and soda will be sold as well. Proceeds benefit the Kewaskum Firefighters Association.
In addition, the Kewaskum Kiwanis Club will sell popcorn and ice cream. No carry-ins are allowed, and sparklers are prohibited. Following the fireworks, cars parked on the west side of the Milwaukee River will be directed west on Main Street, and cars on the east side of the river will be directed to go east.
Once the River Hill Park parking lot is cleared out, cars parked in the grass lot on Prospect Street will be directed to go either north on Parkview Drive or east on Highway 28.
